Doortje is our first Field Trial Labrador and forms the foundation of our kennel. She combines a friendly and social character with a strong work ethic. In daily life, she is a calm and stable dog at home, while during work she is alert and focused without losing her steadiness. Her working style is characterized by drive combined with control and overview when retrieving.

After two successful competition seasons, we started competing with Doortje in the Open class in 2025. During her first competition at this level, she immediately achieved a commendable 3rd place, qualifying her for both the OWT Final in the Netherlands and the Artemis. Unfortunately, due to a litter and a subsequent heat cycle, we were unable to participate in these competitions.

In addition, Doortje has distinguished herself at various (inter)national competitions with consistent results. For example, she achieved a 3U at a CACT duck competition, a 3U and a G in France, and a ZG in Belgium.

In 2025, Doortje successfully qualified for the Fieldwork Championships in the Netherlands, Belgium, and France, which underscores her consistent quality and dedication.

She continues this trend in 2026 as well, with, among other things, a 2U at a Mock Trial and multiple results achieved in the Open OWTs. Additionally, Doortje is part of the Dutch Skinners Team 2026.
